Dr. Larion Lebedev
Chief Science Officer
Prof. Dr. Lebedev is a renowned nuclear physicist with 40 years of experience in nuclear engineering, nuclear safety, and the development and pioneering of SMR technology. He played a significant role in the mitigation and remediation response to the Fukushima Daiichi power plant accident, in recognition for his contributions, the government of Japan awarded him the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in 2025.Â
Dr. Lebedev holds PhDs in Physics and Mathematics, as well as a doctorate in Technical Sciences. His design and engineering of the S.T.A.R Nuclear POD is the culmination of decades of experience working in national nuclear institutes and nuclear research and development for innovative SMR technologies globally.Â
